Shawn Wood 909-645-6049 About Chef Shawn: Chef Shawn Wood, formally of Victorville, CA, is a graduate of the Art
Institutes Culinary Arts Program in Atlanta, GA. Chef Shawn, formally of the Georgia Governor’s Mansion, serving as Sous Chef for the
Mansion’s kitchen where he experienced and honed his skills at being a
personal chef. Just after graduation, Chef Shawn helped a fellow classmate in
conceiving, designing and opening Café Lilly in Work History: 2000 - Present Partners Pantry – Catering Service;
Chef/Owner of Partners Pantry, which is one of the top catering firms in
the 2000 Eurest Dining Services; Hewlett Packard, Assistant Account Manager, responsible for the café’s front of the
house. The account served 500 to 1500 for breakfast and 1500 to 2500 for lunch.
Helped launch two subcontractor accounts. Managed the recruiting and hiring for
the account. Developed plan for improving catering service and the hiring of
catering manager. Assistant/Sous Chef assisted chef in preparation of meals for the first
family, small dinner parties, and large events up to 400 people. Was given
charge over maintenance of kitchen and the pantry up keep. Worked closely with
executive chef in planning menus for all functions. Supervised two cook prep
people with all aspects for kitchen duties. 1997 –1999 Indigo Coastal Grill, Assistant retail shop manager, specializing in chef prepared meals to go.
Prepared food along with introducing many new vegetarian types of options to
customers. Some of the to go items have appeared on the restaurants main
menu. 1997 –1998 Mozzarella Café, Preparation Cook, Part-time. Complete preparation of items that will be
needed during the hours of business. Helped introduce correct sanitation
procedures that would insure a rise in health inspection scores. Developed new
menu preparation procedures. Education: Art Institute of Associate of Arts degree in Culinary Arts, Graduated December 1998
